As a certified Primal Health Coach with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, my goal is to connect learning with living. I have lived for over 40 years in a small community nestled in the Indiana Dunes on the shores of Lake Michigan. From the land, I witnessed small boats traveling along the coastline and massive cargo ships at the edge of the horizon. From the water, I enjoyed many years of family activities aboard our weekend boat. Some days were blessed with calm water to enjoy some skiing and others were cursed with an unexpected storm popping up causing us to take refuge quickly back in the harbor. This nautical vibe running through my veins caused me to connect my health transformation to that of a captain navigating a ship at sea. For years, I traveled without a compass. I had no direction, no course, and no destination. If I were to look at the wake behind me, the journey traveled was definitely not straight. I zigzagged from internet resources, to doctors, to books, and to fitness specialists trying to find solutions to my health issues. My path of research and education led to the inspiration of Primal Compass, a guide providing lifestyle direction for others.
